Lewandowski Engineers has extensive experience working with the energy industry, utilities, all transportation modes, and with automobile and auto parts manufacturers. We work inside and outside refineries, nuclear power plants, rail yards, and all regional auto manufacturers.

We provided surveys and civil engineering design at the FCA Dundee Engine Plant. This was a $803-million joint venture project in 2003. The work site is 330 acres with 1.3 million square feet of floor space.

The scope of civil engineering work included site due diligence, value engineering, site grading of 275 acres, utility design, multiple parking fields, truck marshalling, rail spurs, trailer city, stormwater quantity and quality structures, and hydraulic study for relocation of Cassidy Drain.  We provided an ALTA survey and created 49 utility and transportation easements.
