    Matthew Lewandowski is the fourth generation to lead the civil engineering and land surveying firm founded by his great-grandfather in 1916. As principal, he is responsible for the firm’s property acquisition, research, planning, design, and construction supervision and management services, and he represents clients before government and civic bodies such as city councils and planning commissions.

    He is a 1989 graduate of the University of Toledo and a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio.

    Matt was appointed by the mayor of Toledo to serve on the city’s Regulatory Study Commission in 1998, 1999, and 2000, the Urban Runoff Stormwater Advisory Committee in 2000, and the Toledo City Plan Commission 2007-2009. He has served on the board of the Downtown Improvement District, ConnecToledo and the Anne Grady Center. He is also a past member of the boards of the Fair Housing Center and the Northwest Ohio Development Agency.

    Troy manages the design engineering team working on site design, stormwater and sanitary engineering, and roadway construction design as well as cost estimates and project management. He is licensed in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. You can see his work on the campuses of BGSU, Lourdes University, at the Toledo Zoo, and at Toledo Lucas County Public Libraries. One of his favorite projects was for Mercy Health Partners in Perrysburg: a 91-bed hospital requiring full civil design and a helipad.

    He graduated from the University of Toledo in 1992 with a BS in Civil Engineering. He’s been a senior design engineer at Lewandowski Engineers since 1998.

    Pat leads the field crew which performs land and bathymetric surveys. His work includes deed and title research as well as field work. He is in charge of crew training and work site safety. Pat is the longest serving Lewandowski at the company, running his first construction site at age 17. If you see him sitting quietly in his truck, don’t bother him; he’s doing cosines in his head.
